Mother of all madres for this desert land region of El Paso, Cd. Juarez, Mx., the Guadalupe serves as the metaphor of those working hard for everyone. In La Frontera region, she is everywhere and reflects all that forgives and intercedes; watches everyone while everyone reflects back their own vision of her eyes, her mantle, her rays of light. In these treacherous times we need someone to talk to, meditate on, photograph, and create art for that is based on her image.
